Halfman, now one of two remaining teams with unblemished record, started confidently and took the lead midway through the first half when Coutinho rose to head home a classy lifted pass from Griezmann. Los Hijos responded well with a series of sustained attacks but their heads dropped when Coutinho turned on the style after the break, twice combining well with Reguilon down the left to expose the hosts’ defence and seal his hat-trick. The run goes on for Rodgers’s side, who look confident and complete.
