The off-colour Williams has clearly been missing his old Maychester haunt and he certainly haunted his old side here; his opener in particular was an exceptional strike, somewhat in the Lemar mould. The hosts’ performance as a whole certainly seemed to back up their DoF’s public admission that their pursuit of the title is over, but Tuchel’s men only gave them so much choice in it anyway.
