The multi-storey car park roared with anticipation for the biggest game of the season so far, and Farcelona delivered. Missing both Ronaldo and Casemiro, the visitors were forced to adopt a dogged defensive stance against the leaders but Suarez and Sane broke through for back-to-back goals midway through the first half. The likes of Bentancur and Barella enforced a chokehold on the midfield through which Pogba was unable to assert himself, and it took until the 89th minute for Costa to find – and convert – their first real chance of the game. The Farcelona run goes on, and they are now positioned as the clear team to beat.
