We have been waiting for the Menace to deliver a mature attacking performance all season; when it finally arrived, it was a delight to watch. Pulisic was in cracking form and he opened it up after picking up a pass from Sancho in space on the right of the area. Sancho himself ran the show, bagging two goals of his own – opening his account for the season – after the break against a Ducks team who seemed frankly uninterested. Le Roy’s men have now lost to both of the league’s least prolific teams, and it infuriated the board so much that he was immediately dismissed. The sack race is won!
